UPDATE AS FROM August 2019
Our 2019/2020 begins with a high volume because we managed to buy the following vehicles. Quantum was donated by Lotto, Hilux is from the written off of our groceries vehicle after it was involved from the accident. Lotto also contributed a lot.
SACRED Heart Staff obtained First Aid Certificates, 14 of them were trained by Noyaba Project. It was long over due. By the help The Missionaries of Mariannhill Germany. We thank them for taking us that far.
In 2019 November we used to have different programmes towards children and staff. The social worker focused to disengagement programmes. Because by the end of the year some of our children had to be reunite with their families. About 17 children reunite with their families 19 2019. We salute Sisters of Peter Claver (in Germany) who made things possible for us. We abled to visit some DSD Offices, families whereby the field workers are not able to help us due to transport and communication. Sacred Heart intervened for the best interest of the children.
Children in thise programmes had mixed feelings to meet their familiess after such a long time.
THREE FOULD FUNCTION:
We had a successfully function whereby we were celebrating X-Mas together as the family before
our children go for holidays, speech and prize giving and Farewell function. Without the beautiful
gifts from Pennington people this function wont be successful . (Kiah and the team) they came
before the function to drop the gifts. It was a very touching moment. Some of our children able to
meet them although others were at school jus to witness that moment. People outside have so
passionate about our work and this helped us to run our programmes withoud any hindrenses. May
God bless them all, for building this nation with us.

ENTRTAIMENT GROUPS ON THAT FUNCTION
We don’t to need to hire entertaiment groups our children are so talented . youn will never get
bored with Sacred Heart Children.

Maintenance: Since our buildings are aged the biggest amount goes to renovations. This team worked so tirelessly to ensure that our children are safe, couple of thing on maintenance we done are garage of the quantum, kitchen windows, replace a electric gate at girls, replacement of all guessers in both units because they were out of order.
The Sisters of Peter Claver in Germany shouldering us in a very serious programme. They helped us
to have a successful reunification programme. Quite a number of parents abled to come to visit
their children, we also did home finding and visiting the service offices to ensure cooperation with
this regard programme. Their donation really played a vital role.
We managed to disengage a big number to their families, 20 of our children are with their families.
We provide our children with food parcels. They also bought winter clothing. We salute you sisters, may God bless you
ESPECIALLY Mr Josef who donated funds towards this programme through your help.
Methodist church in Scottburgh also donated bedding like sheets, cushions, pillowcases for children may God rewards you for such a tremendous donation.

After all the programmes of the year Sacred Heart also had to take care of staff starting from general staff to child care work team.

Although end of the year is not the end of financial year but I want to take this opportunity to
thank all who made things possible for Sacred Heart to function, without them we won’t be where
we are today.
